Starship featuring Mickey Thomas performed live in concert at Prairie Band Casino in Mayetta, KS on February 27, 2020. Joining the frontman and founding member of the ’80s incarnation of Jefferson Starship were Darrell Verdusco (drums), Phil Bennett (keyboards), Jeff Adams (bass guitar), Stephanie Calvert (vocals) and John Roth (guitar). The setlist included those staple hits of the decade such as “We Built This City,” “Sara” and the motion picture soundtrack tune “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” from the romantic comedy film “Mannequin” (1987). It also featured popular Jefferson Starship songs and even a rousing performance by Calvert of Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit.”
