Kauffman Hosts Stadium Tour Concert with Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Poison & Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
The highly-anticipated stadium tour featuring rock legends Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Poison & Joan Jett and the Blackhearts finally commenced and will stop in Kansas City, MO on Tuesday, July 19. After years of pandemic-induced delays, the trek is on course and ready to roll through Kauffman Stadium, home of the Royals. It is a monumental night ahead not only because of the amazing line-up of artists, but also because it is only the second concert there since 1979, the most recent just four years ago. Fans will endure the ever-emblematic sounds that defined both the ’80s rock scene and the decade as a whole when they enter the heralded gates at The K. Hits such “Animal,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Love Bites” are guaranteed from Def Leppard, as well as “Smokin’ in the Boys Room,” “Dr. Feelgood” and “Girls, Girls, Girls” from Mötley Crüe. Poison will share its hits too, including “Talk Dirty to Me,” “Every Rose Has its Thorn” and “Nothin’ but a Good Time” plus Joan Jett will play “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Crimson and Clover” and “I Hate Myself for Loving You.”
