Country Music’s Lorrie Morgan Performs Live at Ameristar Casino KC
Country music superstar Lorrie Morgan performed live in concert at Star Pavilion inside of Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on January 21, 2023. With a storied career starting in the early-’70s at the age of 13, the singer and actress is became the youngest inductee into the Grand Ole Opry in 1984. She has numerous Top 10 country hits to her name, including “Out of Your Shoes,” “Except Monday” and “What Part of No,” which she shared with the crowd. Opening up the night was fellow Opry member Mark Wills who is a product of the mid-’90s country scene. He played a handful of his Top 10 hits as well, including “Jacob’s Latter,” “Wish You Were Here” and his cover of Brian McKnight’s “Back at One.” Additionally, Wills made another appearance at the end of the night as he sang a duet with Lorrie Morgan on “‘Til a Tear Becomes a Rose.”
