Ameristar Casino Hosted Two Nights of Rick Springfield & Richard Marx
The two biggest heartthrobs of the 1980s joined forces for two amazing evenings on the Star Pavilion stage at Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on August 24–25, 2024. Sharing stories and playing each other’s songs in rotation, they connected with fans on a much greater intimate level than any other. Though an acoustic set, the evening was absolutely electric. The ladies swooned just as hard as they did three to four decades ago, covered in memorabilia, waving their pre-made signs and rushing the stage with roses and handmade gifts. It was an unprecedented atmosphere, a brand new feel inside the coveted venue.
