Slaughter Returned to Ameristar Casino in KC with Riley’s L.A. Guns
Glam metal and hard rock bands Great White and Slaughter returned to Star Pavilion inside of Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on October 26, 2024. Both are no stranger to the venue, but it is the first time they have appeared there together. Slaughter continues to feature original members Mark Slaughter (lead singer/rhythm guitar) and Dana Strum (bass guitar) along with Jeff “Blando” Bland (lead guitar) and Jordan Cannata (drums). Led be founder and guitar player Mark Kendall, the Great White lineup featured classic members Audie Desbrow (drums) and Michael Lardie (rhythm guitar), Scott Snyder (bass) and newcomer Brett Carlisle (lead vocals). Both bands performed their renown late-’80s and early-’90s tunes, including “Up All Night” and “Fly to the Angles” from Slaughter and “Rock Me” and “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” from Great White.
