Country Band Diamond Rio Performed Live at Star Pavilion in Ameristar Casino

Legendary country music group Diamond Rio performed live at Star Pavilion inside of Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, MO on October 28, 2017. Even though known for its slew of hits throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, the band’s legacy reaches clear back to 1982 as a special lure of Opryland USA in Nashville. After a couple of name changes, Diamond Rio stuck and today it still features a totally classic lineup of ’80s superstars with the same six members performing together since 1989 and throughout all of the band’s mainstream success—Dan Truman, Marty Roe, Jimmy Olander, Brian Prout, Gene Johnson and Dana Williams. It was their last road show of 2017 when they came to Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City and they treated the crowd to all of the big hits and fan favorites from both their early career and later.
