Kauffman Center Brings Rock Legend Peter Cetera to Kansas City
Kansas City’s beloved Kauffman Center announced a blockbuster of a concert and the first in the 2018 Kauffman Center Presents season. Legendary solo artist and former Chicago frontman Peter Cetera will grace the coveted stage at Muriel Kauffman Theatre on Sunday, February 18. As the songwriter, vocalist and bass player for Chicago between 1968 and 1986, Cetera recorded a plethora of hits, including “If You Leave Me Now,” “Baby, What a Big Surprise,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “Hard Habit to Break” and “You’re the Inspiration.” The Grammy Award winner’s distinctive solo career features even more hits, a handful of duets and motion picture soundtrack songs, including “Glory of Love,” “The Next Time I Fall” (w/ Amy Grant), “One Good Woman,” “Feels Like Heaven” (w/ Chaka Kahn), “After All” (w/ Cher), “No Explanation” and “Restless Heart.”
Tickets for the Peter Cetera performance with his 7-piece electric band cost between $39.00 and $109.00. They go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday, December 15 and are available online and in person via the venue box office or by calling 816-994-7222 during the week, Monday through Friday between 10am and 6pm.
