Country Music Legend Gene Watson to Perform at Star Pavilion
Legendary country music star Gene Watson is set to make his return to Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City on Saturday, February 24. Watson performed on the Star Pavilion stage on January 27 of last year in an absolutely amazing and heartfelt evening of real country music in front of a packed crowd. The setlist featured that No. 1 tune “Fourteen Carat Mind” (1981) plus earlier hits like “Love in the Hot Afternoon,” “Where Love Begins,” “Paper Rosie” and his signature song “Farewell Party.” He has since released a brand gospel album entitled “My Gospel Roots,” parts of which with luck fans will have the chance to hear live.
