Extensive 2018 North American Tour Dates Released by Simple Minds
Ever-iconic and indelibly beloved Scottish post-punk band Simple Minds announced 24 concert dates throughout North America set for this fall. It is its most extensive routing since 1985’s “Once Upon a Time” tour. Shorter treks have brought the band across seas though with the most recent runs coming in 2002 and 2013. The 2018 tour will celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary with each night promised to feature two full sets of tunes spanning the four decades plus tracks off the new album, “Walk Between Worlds” (2018). Staple hits from the Simple Minds catalog include “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” “Alive and Kicking” and “Sanctify Yourself.”
The Simple Minds 2018 North American tour is set to kick off on September 24 at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Behlehem, PA. Currently, no Kansas City concert is planned, but the band will perform at Chicago Theatre in Chicago on October 15 and Paramount Theater in Denver on October 18. Tickets for all dates go on sale at 10am local times on Friday, April 27 with varying pre-sales and meet-and-greet packages available. Stay tuned for any possible added dates.
