LRB with Brewer & Shipley to Perform at Uptown Theater in Kansas City
Legendary rock group Little River Band is out on tour now and set for a live performance at Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO on Friday, November 9. Fronted by bass guitarist and KC’s very own Wayne Nelson, LRB is hotter than ever selling out shows and dazzling crowds with its impeccable harmonies and melodic sounds. Hear some of the band’s newer tunes and relive those classics, including “Lonesome Loser,” “Reminiscing,” “Cool Change,” “The Night Owls,” “Take It Easy on Me,” “It’s a Long Way There,” “Man on Your Mind” and “Help Is on Its Way.” Joining LRB on this particular show date is folk rock duo Brewer & Shipley. Also known for their vocal harmonies, KC natives Mike Brewer and Tom Shipley are fresh off celebrating their 50th anniversary and will share those socially conscious tunes so indicative of their era, such as “One Toke Over the Line,” “Shake Off the Demon,” “Song from Platte River” and “Witchi-Tai-To.”
