Iconic Australian psychedelic rock band The Church performed live at the recordBar in Kansas City’s Crossroads District on October 14, 2018. The tour celebrated the 30th anniversary of the group’s landmark album “Starfish” released on February 16, 1988. Featuring founding members Steve Kilbey (lead vocals / bass guitar) and Peter Koppes (guitar / vocals) with Tim Powles (drums / vocals; The Venetians), Ian Haug (guitar / vocals; Powderfinger) and Jeffrey Cain (keyboards) they performed two separate sets—the first set a complete performance of “Starfish” and the second included hits from throughout their entire career.
