Ameristar Casino’s Star Pavilion Presented Queensrÿche Live in Concert on September 20, 2019
Iconic heavy metal band Queensrÿche performed live in concert at Star Pavilion inside of Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on September 20, 2019. Led by founding members Michael Wilton (guitar) and Eddie Jackson (bass), the group was fronted by Todd La Torre and featured guitarist Parker Lundgren and touring drummer Casey Grillo. It was a seated show, but the crowd stood in awe for its entirety. The set included the classics like “Silent Lucidity” and “Jet City Woman”—the band even went all the way back to “Queen of the Reich”—plus included tracks off of its new release “The Verdict” (2019), which reached No. 16 on the albums chart.
