Starlight Theatre Hosted Alice Cooper on His Summer Tour in Kansas City on July 26, 2019
Legendary horror-rock superstar Alice Cooper welcomed Kansas City to his nightmare castle at Starlight Theatre on July 26, 2019. The summer concert tour, dubbed “Ol’ Black Eyes is Back,” celebrated 30 years of his “Trash” album and had a very diverse look from other treks. After five plus decades, “The Godfather of Shock Rock” still delivers an utmost captivating theatrical performance topped with that enduring and symbolic raspy voice. The evening was packed full of jaw-dropping moments as always, from him getting decapitated to a staple appearance of the 12-foot monster. Starlight Theatre was the most perfect venue for such a summertime thrill featuring those classic hits such as “Feed My Frankenstein,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “I’m Eighteen,” “Poison” and “School’s Out” to close the show. Joining Alice Cooper on stage were his constant crew of ferocious musicians, including guitarists Ryan Roxie, Nita Strauss and Tommy Henriksen, bass player Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel.
