80s Concerts in Kansas City | Blondie Coming to Kauffman Center
Punk rock band Blondie fronted by Debbie Harry announced a 22-date summer outing in support of its new album “Pollinator” set for release on May 5. The trek is a co-headlining venture with alternative rock group Garbage, which also has an autobiography dropping just prior to launch. The “Rage and Rapture” tour kicks off at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California and is set to hit Muriel Kauffman Theatre at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City on July 18. Relive Blondie hits like “Heart of Glass” (1979), “Call Me” (1980), “The Tide is High” (1980) and “Rapture” (1981).
