Starlight Theatre Featured Chicago Live on Its 2023 Summer Concert Tour

Legendary soft rock band Chicago brought its summer concert tour to Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO on May 26, 2023. After 56 years, the group continues to feature founding members Robert Lamm (keyboards/guitar/lead vocals), Lee Loughnane (trumpet/flugelhorn/backing vocals) and James Pankow (trombone/backing vocals). The evening included a 2-set performance with tunes spanning their career, including such hits from the ’80s as “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “Hard Habit to Break,” “You’re the Inspiration” and “25 or 6 to 4.” Self-characterized as a rock and roll band with horns, Chicago’s highly acclaimed brass section combined with guitars and synth sounds to forge that epitomal jazz rock persona.
