Knuckleheads Saloon Hosted a Mardi Gras Party Featuring Chubby Carrier on March 13, 2021

Iconic zydeco player and Knuckleheads Saloon staple musical artist Chubby Carrier and his Bayou Swamp Band celebrated Mardi Gras with a sold-out Kansas City crowd inside of the Garage venue on March 13, 2021. It was Carrier’s first time performing post-COVID with his last show having taken place a year earlier right there on the very same stage. Boasting his signature accordion, he and his crew kept the party going with two solid sets that had patrons dancing across the pit. The lineup spanned his career and included a mix of originals such as “Who Stole the Hot Sauce?,” “Jalapeno Lena, “Squeeze Box” and “My Zydeco Shoes” plus cover like “Walking in New Orleans,” “Night Time is the Right Time” and “Rockin’ Robin.”
