Ameristar Casino Hosted Foghat on Its 50th Anniversary of “Slow Ride” Tour

Celebrating 50 years of the hit “Slow Ride,” iconic blues rock band Foghat performed live in concert at Ameristar Casino‘s Star Pavilion in Kansas City, MO on March 15, 2025. Though the crowd was not to capacity, the group sure played as if it was a sold out show that night. In fact, we should not have found a single empty seat in the house. Led by founding member and drummer Roger Earl, it blew the roof off the place with a handful of originals and covers mixed together. Joining Earl on stage was Bryan Bassett (guitar), Rodney O’Quinn (bass) and Scott Holt (lead vocals).

Foghat Setlist at Ameristar Casino Kansas City on March 15, 2025:

“Chateau Lafitte ’59 Boogie,” “Drivin’ Wheel,” “My Babe” (The Righteous Brothers), “Shake Your Moneymaker” (Elmore James), “It Hurts Me Too” (Tampa Red), “She’s a Little Bit of Everything” (Savoy Brown), “Stone Blue,” “Home in My Hand,” “Third Time Lucky (First Time I Was a Fool),” “Fool for the City,” “I Just Want to Make Love to You,” (Willie Dixon) “Play That Funky Music” (Wild Cherry) and “Slow Ride”
