Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts Presented Gladys Knight Live
The “Empress of Soul” Gladys Knight performed live in concert at Muriel Kauffman Theatre in downtown Kansas City, MO on November 19, 2023. The multi-Grammy Award-winning singer was featured as part of the Kauffman Center Presents series. She dazzled a sold out crowd with a slew of her hits with The Pips and covers of artists such as Jim Weatherly. Her indelible voice rang perfectly throughout the venue as the sold out crowd watched in awe of the ever-beloved legend of R&B. Her setlist included those major hits “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” and “Midnight Train to Georgie,” as well as ’80s tunes “Taste of Bitter Love,” “Save the Overtime (For Me)” and “Love Overboard.”
