Mammoth Hosts The New Wave Extravaganza Tour in Kansas City
After not performing in Kansas City for 30 years, Howard Jones seems to have made it a new hotspot on his North American treks as he has performed here four times since 2016. This time around, he headlined his own tour and was joined by two British faves in pop and new wave, ABC and Haircut 100. Entitled the “New Wave Extravaganza” tour, the trio drew a solid house full of endearing fans at Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO on August 25, 2024. The tour marked the first time in more than 40 years since Haircut 100 performed in the United States. It was an extraordinary evening packed full of the pop, synth and new waves sounds that defined our favorite era.
