Joe Louis Walker & Zac Harmon as Acoustic Duo at Knuckleheads Saloon
Blues Hall of Famer and 4-time Blues Music Award winner Joe Louis Walker strolls into Kansas City for a live performance at the genre’s coveted Knuckleheads Saloon on Saturday, December 16. The ever-soulful vocalist and captivating electric blues guitarist released his debut album “Cold is the Night” in 1986. He is worldly exalted and has appeared on numerous Grammy-winning albums. Joining him as an acoustic duo is dear friend and Blues Music Award winner Zac Harmon whose live shows combine soul-blues with contemporary blues-rock, reggae and gospel. He began as a program musician in the ’80s and established himself as a writer and producer, having penned for artists such as Evelyn “Champagne” King, The Whispers, K-Ci & Jo Jo, Freddie Jackson & The O’Jays.
