The Smiths’ Johnny Marr Performed Live at VooDoo Lounge in Kansas City on May 15, 2019
English guitarist, singer-songwriter and The Smiths founding member Johnny Marr brought his solo North American “Call the Comet” tour to VooDoo Lounge inside Harrah’s Casino in Kansas City, MO on May 15, 2019. The outing was in support of his newest album by the same name released mid-last year, which reached No. 7 on the UK albums chart. The set included a mixture of tracks off of that record along with other solo tunes and hits from The Smiths. Joining him on tour were fellow band members James Doviak (guitar/keyboard), Iwan Gronow (bass) and Jack Mitchell (drums).
