KC Summer Soul Fest Takes Over the Grandview Amphitheater
KC Summer Soul Fest comes to the Grandview Amphitheater in Grandview, MO with a loaded lineup of artists on Sunday, July 14. Headlining the evening is none other than legendary group Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. Forming in the late-’70s, the band released a plethora of hits all the way through the mid-’90s. Such titles include the chart-topping ’80s R&B tunes “Back in Stride” and “Can’t Get Over You” plus others like “Too Many Games,” “Before I Let Go,” “We Are One,” ”We Need Love to Live,” “Feel That You’re Feelin'” and more. Also scheduled to perform are Mint Condition lead singer Stokley, Sir Charles Jones, Bishop Bullwinkle, Next Level Live and Lo-Key. In addition, Darron Story and Sean Tyler of Magic 107.3 will host the magnificent family-fun evening.
Tickets for KC Summer Soul Fest are available online via Eventbrite and cost $48.00 for general admission entrance. Two VIP packages are also available with special seating, reception admittance, a parking pass, free wine and hors d’oeuvres and optional backstage access. The venue is located at 13501 Byars Road, Grandview, MO 64030. Doors open at 5pm, show starts at 6pm.
