LRB Performed at Ameristar Casino in Kansas City on January 15, 2022
The ever-beloved Little River Band returned to Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on January 15, 2022. A staple on the Star Pavilion stage, it was the first time that LRB had performed there since the pandemic. Fans were a frenzy for KC-born rock legend and bass guitarist Wayne Nelson, as well as his 4-person backing band and vocalists. Joining him were Chris Marion (keyboard), Rich Herring (guitar), Ryan Ricks (drums) and Colin Whinnery (guitar). The set again featured a mixture of newer tunes along with the classics, including ’80s hits “The Night Owls” and “Take It Easy on Me.”
