Little River Band Returned to Star Pavilion in Kansas City on May 3, 2019
The ever-beloved Little River Band (LRB) returned to Ameristar Casino’s Star Pavilion in Kansas City, MO on May 3, 2019. Fronted by Kansas City-born rock legend and bass guitarist Wayne Nelson, the members once again dazzled a packed crowd with their individualist sound that has transcended across continents for 40 plus years. This time, however—exactly a year since the last performance at Ameristar—it was with a live orchestra in tow. All of the classics and even the newer tunes were re-imagined with the sweet sounds of violins and horns throughout the entire set.
