Ameristar Featured Mark Chesnutt at Star Pavilion on March 7, 2025

After rescheduling due to heart issues, country music superstar Mark Chesnutt made his long awaited return to a sold out house at Ameristar Casino‘s Star Pavilion in Kansas City, MO on March 7, 2025. A product of the 1980s, Chesnutt released his debut album “Doing My Country Thing” in 1988. However, it was in the ’90s when he made it huge as he released eight chart-topping hits throughout the decade, as well as a dozen additional Top 10 songs. Several of those stable tunes were featured in his setlist, including “Brother Jukebox,” “Blame It on Texas,” “Bubba Shot the Jukebox,” “I Just Wanted You to Know” and “Goin’ Through the Big D” plus a cover of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” to close out the night.
