The recordBar Presents Midge Ure in a Live Acoustic Performance
Legendary Scottish singer-songwriter, producer and humanitarian Midge Ure brings his live acoustic performance to the recordBar in downtown Kansas City, MO on Monday, January 27. The new wave artist found success in the ’70s and ’80s as the frontman of Ultravox, as well as in bands such as Silk, Thin Lizzy, Rich Kids and Visage. Ure also co-wrote and produced “Do They Know It’s Christmas?,” the 1984 charity single, which is the second highest selling in UK history. Additionally, he co-organized with Bob Geldof the Band Aid, Live Aid and Live 7 events. His “Songs, Questions and Answers” tour will cover his entire 40-year career and feature acoustic renditions of songs such as “Vienna,” “Hymn,” “Dancing with Tears in My Eyes,” Lament,” “All Fall Down,” “No Regrets,” “If I Was,” “Call of the Wild” and “Dear God.”

Tickets for the Midge Ure acoustic performance at the recordBar are available online via Eventbrite and cost $25.00 for seated advance general admission or $30.00 day of the show. The venue is located at 1520 Grand Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64108. Doors open up at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm.
