Iconic rock band Night Ranger featuring Jack Blades, Kelly Keagy, Brad Gillis and Keri Kelli—Eric Levy joyfully returned home for his daughter’s birth—headlined Old Shawnee Days 2017 at Herman Laird Park in Shawnee, KS with a free performance in celebration of the band’s 35th anniversary, performing classic hits such as “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” “(You Can Still) Rock In America,” “When You Close Your Eyes,” the motion picture soundtrack song “The Secret of My Success” and the power ballad “Sister Christian.”

I always loved Night Ranger, and Damn Yankees and I got to say it’s largely due to Jack blades. always a team player and possibly the most valuable player on any team he wanted to play on. I hate that we all had to get old. We all grew app with Jack blades. He along with many others help write the soundtrack to a lot of lives. I will always be grateful for the gift that he shared.
