Old Shawnee Days kicks off summer for thousands of families each year with a carnival and parade, special attractions and FREE live music. Nearly 100,000 people attend annually, and this year patrons will be lovin’ every minute of it as they are wildly entertained by Canada’s legendary rock band Loverboy on Saturday, June 4. The group was an international success upon the release of its very first and self-titled album featuring the hit tune “Turn Me Loose” (1980). Its first four albums reached multi-platinum status in both the United States and its native country and spawned a plethora of hit singles that continue symbolize the decade today.
