Ameristar Casino Kansas City Hosted the Ozark Mountain Daredevils on August 21, 2021

Southern and country rock band the Ozark Mountain Daredevils performed live at Star Pavilion inside Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on August 21, 2021. Heralding from Springfield, MO, the group is certainly no stranger to the locals with nearly 50 years of history in the area. The band formed in 1972 and today still features founding members John Dillon (vocals / guitar / multi) and Mike “Supe” Granda (vocals / bass / multi). Also on stage were classic members Bill Jones (woodwinds / horns), Ruell Chappell (percussion) and Ron “Rongo” Gremp (drums) plus Dave Painter (lead guitar), Kelly Brown (keyboards) and Nick Sibley (rhythm guitar), as well as newcomer Molly Healey (violin). Several tunes from its latest album “Off The Beaten Path” were part of the set along with the staples like “If You Wanna Get to Heaven” and “Jackie Blue.”
