The RBRM “4 the Love of It” Tour Hit Starlight in KC on May 9, 2019
New Edition members Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell and Mike Bivins joined forces as RBRM on the “4 the Love of It” tour and performed live in concert at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO on May 9, 2019. The R&B and New Jack Swing group formed in the late-’70s and rose to fame throughout the 1980s. Bobby Brown embarked on solo career in 1985 and the other three would go on to form Bell Biv DeVoe in 1989. New Edition reunited in 2004 with other members Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill. With cold and rainy weather at hand, the crowd at Starlight Theatre was little thin and the opening DJ set was cancelled. However, that did not stop RBRM from going out and performing as if among a packed house. They seemingly loved absolutely every moment on stage as did all onlookers. The quartet dazzled fans with a sweet mixture of those New Edition hits along with their individual tunes.
