Star Pavilion Hosts Second Shooting Star Concert of 2019 at Ameristar
Kansas City’s own legendary rock band Shooting Star makes its return to Star Pavilion at Ameristar Casino on November 23, 2019. Known for its highly energetic performances, the band is a staple of the 1980s with such classic tunes as “Touch Me Tonight,” “You Got What I Need,” “Hollywood,” “Last Chance” and “Flesh and Blood.” Members played for the first time in three in a half years and since the passing of the late great Van McLain at Ameristar this past January. It was an absolutely electric night in front of a sold out crowd. They followed that up with headlining Old Shawnee Days in June and are now again booking shows outside of the area. Their return to Star Pavilion is a guaranteed evening not to miss.

Tickets for the Shooting Star show at Star Pavilion cost $15.00–$30.00 and are available online via Ticketmaster, by calling 800-745-3000 or by visiting any outlet. The venue is located inside of Ameristar Casino at 3200 North Ameristar Drive, Kansas City, MO 64161. Doors open at 8pm, show starts at 8:30pm.
