Ameristar Casino’s Star Pavilion to Host R&B Legend The Temptations
Legendary R&B and soul group The Temptations is set to perform live at Star Pavilion inside of Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on October 7, 2023. The Motown vocalists are no stranger to the Star Pavilion stage, but have not appeared at the casino in five years. They continue to feature founding member and baritone singer Otis Williams plus tenor singer Ron Tyson (The Ethics), Terry Weeks (USAF’s ensemble Tops in Blue), Larry Braggs (Tower of Power) and newcomer and bass singer Jawan M. Jackson (“Motown the Musical”). Named Billboard’s No. 1 Motown band spanning the last six decades, the group is guaranteed to once again delight a crowd of endearing fans with its choreography and sweet harmonies. Along with an incredible backing band, catch The Temptations highlighting all of those classics throughout its career, including “My Girl,” “Get Ready,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “I Can’t Get Next to You” and “Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me),” as well as that ’80s hit “Treat Her Like a Lady.”
