Legendary R&B and soul group The Temptations performed live inside Star Pavilion at Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City on July 21, 2017. The band continues to feature founding member and baritone singer Otis Williams plus tenor Ron Tyson, former lead singer of The Ethics and member of the band since 1983, Terry Weeks, former member of the USAF’s ensemble Tops in Blue and member since 1997, former Tower of Power frontman Larry Braggs and bass singer Willie Green. Named Billboard’s No. 1 Motown band spanning the last six decades, the band delighted a crowd of endearing fans with its choreography and sweet harmonies while highlighting all of those classics throughout its career, including “My Girl,” “Get Ready,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “I Can’t Get Next to You” and “Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me).” The setlist even featured those ’80s hits “Lady Soul” and “Treat Her Like a Lady” plus that late-’90s hit “Stay.”
