Tone Lōc & Color Me Badd Performed at Ameristar Casino’s Star Pavilion on March 2, 2019
R&B and new jack swing group Color Me Badd came to Star Pavilion inside of Ameristar Caasino in Kansas City, MO with rapper Tone Lōc on March 2, 2019. Both sets opened with DJs mixing and spinning tracks to get the crowd worked up for the live concert performances. Color Me Badd kicked off the show featuring original group members Bryan Abrams (lead vocals) and Mark Calderon (tenor/dancer) with newcomer Adam Emil (singer/dancer). Their set included all of the CMB classic hits from the early-’90s, including “I Wanna Sex You Up,” “I Adore Mi Amor” and “All 4 Love” plus even added in a new single entitled “Take Me Back.” Tone Lōc took the stage next to an elated crowd with DJ M. Walk, original member of the legendary 1580 KDAY Mixmasters out of LA. The rap legend performed his biggest hits “Funky Cold Medina” and “Wild Thing” along with handful of others and some covers. He closed out the night by inviting all of the women in the crowd on stage to which they swarmed.
