The Righteous Brothers founding member Billy Medley recently rekindled the band (originally formed with the late Bobby Hatfield in 1962) with vocalist Bucky Heard and brought the legendary name to Star Pavilion inside Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Missouri on June 16, 2017. The set featured a load of classics such as “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling” (1964) and “Unchained Melody” (1965), which became hits multiple times through out the decades as re-releases and were included in motion picture soundtracks of “Top Gun” (1986) and “Ghost” (1990) respectively. It even included that chart-topping soundtrack song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from “Dirty Dancing” (1987), a duet with Jennifer Warnes during Medley’s solo career.
